WARDOGS patch notes: every official post from the February reveal to patch 0.11, summarised and dated

WARDOGS patch notes live in one place — BULKHEAD's Steam announcements — and this hub reads all of them. Twenty-six official posts were published between the announcement trailer on 9 February 2026 and the patch 0.11 notice on 12 September 2026; the studio has used them for everything from wishlist milestones to the full Season 1 changelog to a maintenance table in fourteen time zones. Below is every post in a dated table, then the three update pages this hub hosts, then the pattern of what BULKHEAD changes and how it tells you.

The read date for the feed is 13 September 2026. The next scheduled change — patch 0.11 delivered during roughly one hour of downtime — was 14 September at 08:00 UTC. This page will be updated when the next official post appears; the date at the bottom is the honest measure of how current it is.

Kinds in the table are ours; BULKHEAD does not tag its posts.

Every official post, in order

Dates are UTC from the Steam news feed. 'Kind' is our classification, not BULKHEAD's.

Two things to notice in the table. The cadence accelerates: seven posts in the six months to July, then nineteen in the seven weeks from 11 August to 12 September. And the post types change: milestones and devlogs before pre-orders, then schedules, changelogs and fixes. A studio that had been marketing became a studio that was operating a live game, and the feed shows the switch on 11 August 2026.

All BULKHEAD Steam announcements for WARDOGS, 9 February – 12 September 2026 (Steam news feed, read 13 September 2026).

The three update pages

WARDOGS patch 0.11 — the first post-launch patch: the Community/Official server-browser split, text search and persistent server IDs, the fourteen-time-zone maintenance table, the 5% community-server cash bonus, the economy-abuse penalties, extra Asian capacity, and the six 'upcoming features'. WARDOGS Season 1 changelog — the launch rebalance in full: XP bands 6–50, fourteen price changes, eighteen unlock moves, vehicle and voice fixes, thirteen performance and crash fixes, charted. WARDOGS beta — the road from pre-alpha to open beta: dates, what each test was for, the 245,000-player beta peak, and why beta-era guides are wrong about prices and levels.

For the feed itself, the WARDOGS news page reads BULKHEAD's Steam announcements hourly and lists every post newest first.

The Season 1 changelog, counted

Because the changelog is the largest single document BULKHEAD has published, here is its shape: how many lines each section carries. The table is a reading aid; the Season 1 page has every line.

SectionLinesExamples

How BULKHEAD announces changes

Three habits are visible in the feed. Changelogs are published before the patch lands — the Season 1 notes came with pre-load on 9 September for a 10 September launch; the patch 0.11 notes came on 12 September for a 14 September deployment. Numbers are exact — the XP bands carry BULKHEAD's own percentage slowdowns, the economy list is 'every price change in one place', the maintenance window is given in fourteen local times. And mistakes are owned in the same channel: patch 0.11 opens with 'It's time we own up… We got this bit wrong', and the hotfix post apologises twice.

The feed also carries what is not a patch. Wishlist milestones (100K, 200K, 500K, 1M), the copies-sold post, devlog videos and event reminders are all in the same stream, which is why the table above classifies them. If you only want changes to the game, the two posts that matter since launch are the changelog and patch 0.11.

The 25 days from closed beta to 400,000 concurrent players, from the posts in the table above and SteamDB. Chart by this site.

What has changed since the beta, in one paragraph

If you last played in August: levels 10–20 take about twice as long; the Artillery Tank is Career 90 and $500,000; the Heavy Tank is Driver 35; the FOB is $7,500 and the vendor's Large Hammer $2,400; the Large Hammer needs Support 8; the Lakota, URAL and Dune Buggy are cheaper and the armed Little Bird and Kodiak Flatbed dearer; air-vehicle kills give 250 XP and cheap supply sales 1 XP; the church roof is fixed; voice recovers after a failed join; DLSS Frame Generation toggles live; the server browser has Community and Official tabs with text search; community servers pay 5% extra until about 19 September; and cash exploits get a timed ban plus a reset to zero. Each of those has a page or a section on this site with the source line.

The pre-launch devlogs and what they committed to

Six of the twenty-six posts are devlogs, and each fixed a position that later posts can be checked against. 'Evolving the King of the Hill Mod' (19 Feb) committed to the Arma KOTH lineage. 'Early Access & Beyond' (7 Apr) committed to a metagame — Black Market & Vault, Player Skills & Challenge System — built 'throughout Early Access'. 'Tactical Depth & Teamplay' (21 May) committed to 'real-world ballistics, audio and flight models' and 'every decision affects YOUR account balance'. 'Addressing Feedback' (16 Jun) drew the studio's line between arcade and realism — 'This isn't just about Killcam' — and said that line would hold 'throughout Early Access & Beyond'. 'Level Design & Performance' (16 Jul) committed to performance across hardware and described reference-gathering 'firsthand in Georgia'. The 11 August pre-order post committed to the three monetisation rules and to refunds. This hub exists partly to hold those commitments next to the patches that follow them.

What BULKHEAD says is next

Patch 0.11 lists six 'upcoming features… not yet ready but… in the pipeline': community server favouriting, tiered priority queues for community servers, a Message of the Day prompt, improved warmup activities, disabling AFK kicking during seeding, and team switching controls. It adds that these 'don't affect the content we're working on for Season 2'. The Steam Early Access Q&A gives the longer view — more maps, weapons and vehicles including fighter jets, deeper progression, a seasonal metagame — over an Early Access period of 'around 1 to 2 years'. And PCGamesN's summary of BULKHEAD's own '10 Reasons NOT to Buy' is that there will not be 'regular content drops' on top of the launch roster of 37 weapons, 27 vehicles and three maps.

The Early Access hub covers the roadmap and the price plan; this hub will carry the next patch when it is posted.
